Writer's pictureDiversity in the Arts Internship

Join the DITA network by hosting an intern during Summer 2025!

Host Site Applications Are Now Open

Each year, DITA curates a diverse cohort of interns who use their creative skills to bring new energy and viewpoints to cultural organizations across Colorado's Front Range. Interns are current college students who identify with communities traditionally underrepresented in the arts (communities of color, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, and more). They work at their host sites full-time for the 10 weeks of the program and attend learning/networking events with their cohort to gain more professional knowledge and connections.

Want to help us weave this web of leaders? Host an intern during Summer 2025!

What we look for in host site organizations:

  • nonprofit organizations with a focus on arts & culture

  • commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

  • interest in supporting the development of young leaders

  • full-time staff member who's enthusiastic about serving as the intern's supervisor

  • dedicated workspace for the intern (and any necessary technology or tools)

  • meaningful project/job duties for the intern to work on throughout the summer

If this sounds like a good fit for your organization, apply today! Be sure to read through the full requirements and responsibilities of hosting a DITA intern.

Applications close Friday, November 8 at 7:00PM (MST)
